Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing. A full refund minus a $75 processing fee (for delegate) or $100 processing fee (for exhibitor/advertiser) is available through August 27, 2010.  No partial refunds will be made available.  Fax requests for cancellation to World Events Forum, Inc. at +1.208.575.5453.

Substitutions: Changes to attendee information or registration substitutions must be made no later than October 15, 2010.

VISA LETTERS

The conference's guidelines for providing visa letters are as follows:

Visa letters will only be issued to:

- People the organizers know

- Scholarship and Award winners, Speakers and Presenters

- Sponsors and Exhibitors

- Attendees who have paid their registration fee in full

The visa letter will state only:

- The conference title, dates and location

- That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full (a 2-week verification period will be required for all credit card payments).

- If they are either a scholarship recipient, speaker,  presenter, sponsor or exhibitor.

Note:  If you pay for the conference and your visa is denied, the conference will refund your registration fee less $75 handling charge.  Please note that this refund is accepted until August 27.  No other refunds will be made post August 27.

To request a visa letter:

To request a letter of invitation, please email us with the following information:

- Requestor's complete mailing address, including country and postal code

- Mailing address for the Swiss embassy office with which you are working

- Your FAX number

- Your category (i.e., are you an invited participant or registered attendee)

The conference secretariat will require sufficient time to process your letter request. We will mail the letter to you, the applicant. If you have provided a fax number, we will also fax you a copy, if we can. We do not mail letters directly to the consulate; most consulates have indicated they do not have the facilities to file such letters pending an application. This letter must be requested in sufficient time to accommodate the delays inherent in international mail and the local embassy/consulates processing time.

DISCLAIMER

It is the attendee's responsibility to apply for any visas and request any letters of invitation. It is the attendee's responsibility to demonstrate that they are properly classifiable as visitors under Swiss law to consular officials. The organizers cannot ensure that a visa will be granted to you. That determination is at the sole discretion of the respective Embassy/Consulate. Should your application be denied, the organizers cannot change the decision of the governmental agency.
