2019 ADDF YOUNG INVESTIGATOR SCHOLARSHIPS

The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation invites applications for the 2019 ADDF Young Investigator Scholarships. These prestigious scholarships recognize early achievements and seek to encourage the career development of the next generation of research scientists.

Twenty-four ADDF Young Investigator Scholarships will be awarded

Each of the scholarships provides:

  • A single registration to attend the conference
  • Opportunity to present a poster at the conference
  • Name recognition in the program and on the conference website

Five (5) scholarship recipients will receive two-night hotel accommodations at the conference venue. Applicants will be judged on financial need and merit.

Scholarship recipients are expected to attend the 13th Annual Drug Discovery for Neurodegeneration Conference to receive the award.

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The applicant must be a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow. Postdoctoral applicants should have no more than four years of postdoctoral training. Physician-scientists are eligible to apply. The program has no geographic restrictions. Women and minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.

  1. The applicant is required to submit an abstract of his/her research
  2. The applicant is required to present the corresponding poster at the meeting
  3. Accepted abstracts will be published as part of the conference book or the website.
